Jiang Jin looked at County Princess Rongjia with some surprise, not understanding why the County Princess would stand up for her.

“His Highness said, please wait a little longer.”

Jiang Jin was puzzled. Hadn’t County Princess Rongjia already been invited?

She asked, “Wait for what?”

Muyu nodded: “His Highness has already received the medicine. But whether he used it or not, I don’t know. It’s very kind of you to have such consideration, Third Miss.”

As she spoke, she suddenly raised her hand and produced another food box.

Jiang Jin looked at it, a smile forming at the corner of her mouth: “Thank you, Muyu.”

Muyu shook her head:

“It was His Highness’s order. Third Miss, please enjoy your meal slowly. I must return now!”

Jiang Jin: “Alright.”

Jiang Jin took the food box and watched Muyu leave before closing the window again.

Once the window was shut, the tightly closed door was suddenly pushed open from the outside.

“Miss.”

Furong had returned.

She was carrying a food box and had just stepped into the inner chamber when she noticed the food box in Jiang Jin’s hands.

Furong blinked, “Miss, when did you go to the main kitchen to fetch food? I just came from there and didn’t see anyone from our courtyard!”

Jiang Jin shook her head: “It’s not from the estate. Muyu brought it over just now.”

Furong understood and soon remembered something.

She scratched her head sheepishly and said, “After delivering the medicine, I think I heard the Zhangshi calling me a few times. It seemed he wanted me to bring a food box back for you…”
