The words “Commander” acted like a bucket of cold water, instantly dousing Old Mrs. Lin’s fury.

Her hand, raised mid-air, froze. Looking at the icy glares from Gu Jingnan and Si Muchen, she finally realized these were people she couldn’t afford to provoke.

She reluctantly withdrew her hand, but her eyes still fixed on Tongtong like a venomous snake, wishing she could flay the child with her gaze alone.

Lin Zhiguo also scolded Tongtong: “Tongtong! Don’t talk nonsense! Where are your manners!”
