Chapter 256: Why Do You Take Advantage of Me When You're Drunk? Chu Tang was already dead drunk and completely unconscious, but she still instinctively nuzzled into Jiang Shixu's arms, mumbling drowsily, "Mmm, so comfortable." Jiang Shixu picked Chu Tang up, and she rested her head against his chest. She didn't cry or make a fuss, and her rambling murmurs stopped as she settled down quietly. Jiang Shixu's gaze was as gentle as a pool of spring water, his voice low and magnetic. "Such a good girl." Jiang Shixu carried Chu Tang out of the bar with one arm, like one would carry a child. Several bodyguards followed silently behind him. Lin Sen walked over and asked A Wen, "Do you know where Miss Ruan's two friends live?" A Wen shook her head. Lin Sen said, "Miss Ruan's friends need to be sent back safely, but since we don't know where they live, let's take them to a hotel under Jiangshi Group for the night. Miss A Wen, I need your help." A man like Lin Sen couldn't very well take two women to check into a hotel room by himself. A Wen looked in the direction Chu Tang and Jiang Shixu had left, frowning slightly. "Miss A Wen, don't worry. With our CEO around, Miss Ruan won't be in any danger. Besides, the CEO has many bodyguards with him." A Wen wanted to follow and protect Chu Tang, but she glanced at Yu Jiaojiao and Xiao Xiao, who were both dead drunk, and ultimately didn't go after them. A Wen usually worked as Chu Tang's assistant at the law firm to stay close and protect her, and through their interactions, she had grown familiar with Xiao Xiao and Yu Jiaojiao. The two of them could now be considered A Wen's friends as well. In the end, A Wen chose to help Lin Sen take Yu Jiaojiao and Xiao Xiao to check into a room at a hotel under Jiangshi Group. ...... The drunk Chu Tang was soft and limp, leaning into Jiang Shixu's arms as if she had no bones at all. As they walked out of the bar, the air conditioning was gone and the outdoor heat hit them. Chu Tang burrowed her face into the hollow of Jiang Shixu's neck, whimpering softly, her warm breath tinged with alcohol gently brushing against his skin. The driver respectfully opened the car door. Jiang Shixu carried Chu Tang into the car and sat in the back seat. He placed her sideways on his lap and held her. The black Cullinan drove smoothly through the midsummer night of Jiangcheng. Streetlights flashed past the windows, casting shifting light and shadow across Chu Tang's face. The car was very quiet. Chu Tang's eyes were open. She didn't make a sound or cause a fuss, her unfocused gaze staring into nothing—as if she were emptying her mind, or perhaps filled with unspoken thoughts. Jiang Shixu raised his hand and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, his slightly rough thumb gently stroking her cheek. Chu Tang's face was flushed with a pink glow, looking adorably tipsy. Without doing anything at all, she unknowingly plucked at Jiang Shixu's heartstrings. "Jiang Shixu." Chu Tang suddenly called his name. "Mm, I'm here." The man's voice was low, laced with unreserved tenderness. "Jiang Shixu, let's not break up, okay?" Chu Tang's voice was thick with tears. She furrowed her delicate brows and buried her face deep into the hollow of Jiang Shixu's neck. Her soft, gentle lips brushed lightly against the skin of his neck. Chu Tang's slightly coquettish tone was like a tiny hook, gently tugging at the ends of Jiang Shixu's nerves. Ripples spread across the calm surface of Jiang Shixu's heart. He lowered his head and pressed a light kiss to Chu Tang's forehead. "We won't break up. Never again." Chu Tang let out a soft, sweet whimper from her throat. Jiang Shixu's gaze deepened. "Tangtang." "Hm?" Chu Tang looked up at him with hazy, bewildered eyes, moist and glistening. "What is it?" Her eyes were simply too beautiful—now veiled in a layer of mist, dewy and bright. Her face, bare of any makeup, was flushed with a faint rosy tint, as tempting as a peach, making one want to kiss her. Jiang Shixu lowered his gaze and coaxed her in a low voice, "Do you want a kiss?" Chu Tang turned her head to glance at the driver, then pressed her lips together and said, "No." Jiang Shixu gently tapped her nose and continued to coax her with his magnetic voice, "Say yes. Be a good girl." Chu Tang looked up at him, her almond-shaped eyes sparkling with light. She stared at Jiang Shixu, fixed and unblinking, then broke into a giggle. "Jiang Shixu, you're so handsome." "Then do you want to kiss me?" The man gazed into her eyes. His dark, deep eyes seemed to hold a kind of magic, drawing her in. The drunk Chu Tang smiled like a child and nodded. "Yes." "Then you come kiss me." Jiang Shixu's voice was low and husky. The man leaned back, tilting his face up slightly, his eyes dark and deep, waiting for someone to kiss him of her own accord. Chu Tang didn't hesitate. She leaned in and pressed her lips to his. Their lips met. Chu Tang kissed messily, with no technique at all. Her kissing skills hadn't improved in the slightest. Jiang Shixu responded slowly, a smile curling at the corners of his lips, his heart sweet as if soaked in honey. Chu Tang kissed for a while, but it was all shallow kisses—innocent and pure, without a trace of desire. Jiang Shixu felt it wasn't enough, so he turned from passive to active, cupping the back of Chu Tang's head and deepening the kiss. His tongue pried open Chu Tang's pearly teeth, entering her mouth, and he took the initiative to touch her tongue. Their lips and tongues intertwined, and the atmosphere gradually grew heated. As they kissed, Chu Tang's hands began to wander. Those fair, soft hands roamed over the man's abdominal muscles. Jiang Shixu let out a muffled groan, grabbing one of Chu Tang's mischievous hands. "What are you doing?" "Let me feel your abs." Chu Tang pulled her hand free from Jiang Shixu's grip and touched his abs again. The driver, being tactful, raised the partition. Jiang Shixu chuckled, teasing Chu Tang, "Taking advantage of me while you're drunk?" A thin layer of rosy flush spread across Chu Tang's fair face. She looked at Jiang Shixu and murmured softly, her voice sweet and alluring, "I want..." Jiang Shixu's Adam's apple moved slightly, the darkness in his eyes deepening. He coaxed in a low voice, "Want what?" He was asking knowingly. Chu Tang pouted with a "hmph" and didn't answer. Instead, she reached out and pressed her hand directly there. Jiang Shixu couldn't help but let out a muffled groan. He quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled her hand away, his voice growing hoarse with desire. "Tangtang, are you drunk or drugged?" Chu Tang, in a daze, seemed to understand his words and mumbled softly, "Not drugged." So she was drunk and wanted it. "Are you really drunk or faking it?" Jiang Shixu held the hand that had just caused trouble, letting out a low laugh. "How come every time you get drunk, you take advantage of me?" It was the same last time. When drunk, she'd get handsy with him. This time was even bolder. Her hand had gone all the way there. How was he supposed to hold back? "You're mine." Chu Tang puffed out her cheeks, speaking indignantly. The man's eyes were full of adoration. "Mm, I'm yours." The watery gleam in Chu Tang's eyes deepened. She stared at him unblinkingly with her big, moist eyes, looking so wronged she was about to cry. Jiang Shixu was still holding back. He didn't know if she was genuinely upset because he hadn't satisfied her, or if she knew he couldn't stand seeing her cry and was deliberately using tears to deal with him. The water in Chu Tang's eyes kept accumulating, gradually spilling over the rims. The next second, round droplets fell like rain on pear blossoms, as if they were landing on Jiang Shixu's heart, searing with heat.
