Song Huaiyu has always been the person Chi Mo fears the most. During the ten years she spent with Guan Yizhou, he witnessed almost all of her most disheveled and awkward moments. This is not a story about an ordinary girl chasing the person she likes to a big city and finally getting a happy ending. Chi Mo and Guan Yizhou belonged to two completely different worlds to begin with. She had spent ten years tilting her head up, struggling to reach that world, only to suddenly give up on a bright, sunny morning. It's easy to understand what giving up means, right? It means she’s done playing, she’s done trying, and she’s no longer going to try and break the traditional concept of "a match of unequal social status." The problem is: Song Huaiyu won't allow it. Chi Mo couldn't comprehend a single word he said. Did he really think that under the exact same circumstances, switching to someone else would lead to a different ending? --- Not a virgin romance (non-shuangjie). [I suddenly noticed the tag was automatically changed, and applying to change it back is such a hassle, so let me emphasize it again: Not a virgin romance! Not a virgin romance! Not a virgin romance!] The female lead has a very long-term relationship. The male lead is the childhood best friend of the female lead's ex-boyfriend, so he watched firsthand how the female lead and her ex went from dating to breaking up. It can't really be called openly poaching her away, but after finding out that the female lead no longer loved her ex, the male lead did indeed take action.
